From ac92f881371ffdee963d9044bd741d31f2ea2ec0 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Qingyuan Wang <146524024+NUAAwqy@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Sun, 18 Oct 2026 20:51:53 +0800 Subject: [PATCH] Clarify quiet-down -block help text regarding Pipeline jobs (#27556) The -block option of the quiet-down CLI command does not wait for running Pipeline jobs, because they are resumable and pause at the end of their current step. The usage text did not mention this, which led users to report the behavior as a bug. Clarify the help text. --- core/src/main/java/hudson/cli/QuietDownCommand.java | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/core/src/main/java/hudson/cli/QuietDownCommand.java b/core/src/main/java/hudson/cli/QuietDownCommand.java index c4cd7e02a9..9ef404068e 100644 --- a/core/src/main/java/hudson/cli/QuietDownCommand.java +++ b/core/src/main/java/hudson/cli/QuietDownCommand.java @@ -40,7 +40,7 @@ public class QuietDownCommand extends CLICommand { private static final Logger LOGGER = Logger.getLogger(QuietDownCommand.class.getName()); - @Option(name = "-block", usage = "Block until the system really quiets down and no builds are running") + @Option(name = "-block", usage = "Block until the system really quiets down and no builds are running.
