The thread dump indicates that the test thread is stuck at british.join(), because British channel reader thread is still alive. I remember PipedInput|OutputStream being not truly multi-thread aware, so changing it to our own version to see if that fixes the problem without my digging further.

- moved data binding of update-center.json to UpdateSource.
- moved some of the UpdateSource property into JSON, to improve the user experience when adding an update source.
the user should just type in one URL, and everything else should happen automatically.
- it doesn't make sense for UpdateSource to rely on UpdateCenterConfiguration, since behaviors cannot be
modified per UpdateSource basis. Instead, leaving it in UpdateCenter allows us to maintain backward compatible

Actually, for now, just having a programmatic modification to UpdateSite would satisfy the primary use case.
And I'd like to upgrade YUI to a more recent version so that we can use its DataTable for UI. Plus the single update center model encourages the community to bring the code into the Hudson project, which is something we'd like to keep.
So all in all, I'm postponing the UI work.

[FIXED HUDSON-3444] Fix javadoc browsing.
Stapler does not seem to call "<Type> doDynamic()" (though it does call

[FIXED HUDSON-3502] Maven builds were not correctly using build wrappers.
Module set builds were running wrappers but ignoring any environment variables they tried to set.
Individual module builds (e.g. "Run in parallel" checked, or just click Build Now on a module) were ignoring wrappers altogether.
Either way, $DISPLAY was not being set when the XVNC plugin was used.
Note: there is a certain amount of code duplication in the various doRun implementations which could perhaps be factored out somewhere.

with the introduction of Item.READ, I believe this test data now needs to grant that permission to anonymous.
This change also implies that existing user will see regressions with this new change. Without the explicit access given to Item.READ, the users who were able to see everything before will suddenly not see any projects at all, until the permission is explicitly granted on Item.READ.
OTOH, if I inherit Item.READ from Hudson.READ, the per-project permission won't work, becaues Hudson.READ is necessary to see the top page.

package name in TESTS-TestSuites.xml can be "" and that created a test suite
with the name ".<ClassName>" so the test for duplicates in TestResult.add()
was not working.
