kohsuke c19ecbf318 <tt>slave.jar</tt> now supports the <tt>-noCertificateCheck</tt> to bypass (or cripple) HTTPS certificate 
examination entirely. Useful for working with self-signed HTTPS that are often seen in the intranet.

kohsuke 6e211c3758 Merged jnlp-agent and remoting module, so that the JNLP like proactive connection mode is available through slave.jar 
This allows us to define another launch mode, especially suitable for running as a service on Windows.

kohsuke 5746cdfc7a [FIXED HUDSON-2063] Java 1.6 dependency crept into Hudson in 1.234. 
Use of non-existent class only causes NoClassDefError at the offending line in normal execution, but I didn't realize that reflection breaks when I do that.

Switch to rely on reflection completely to fix this problem.

kohsuke 704343f57e [FIXED HUDSON-1458] Fixed the mysterious JVM hang issue on Windows&Maven2. 
I spent a good part of yesterday afternoon to track down this problem. I first attached Visual Studio to the hanging JVM. While I can see the JVM source code and Windows API symbols all right, I couldn't figure out how to relate back the code produced by JIT to its Java, so this made the debugging very hard.

What I observed was that Maven's main thread seems to be blocked in WaitForSingleObject kernel API, but I can't figure out what handle it's blocking on. This call appears to come directly from JIT-ed Java code.

The problem disappears if I enable Java debugger support, or if I attach jconsole. So this cannot be a plain Java-level deadlock.

So after that much work, I still coudldn't figure out the root cause.


But I took the advice from mriem@dev.ajva.net anyway, and modified the remoting to use a separate TCP socket, instead of stdin/stdout. This is useful anyway, because sometimes JVM writes out to stdout and that breaks the whole set up, which was one of the known issues.

This commit brings in this change, and in the limited testing so far, this appears to work. So let's hope that it fixes the problem once and for all.

kohsuke 975f36e73a fixed a bug regarding a roundtrip exporting (where side X exports an object to the other side Y, and Y re-exports that back to X.) 
When this happens to classloaders (that is, when the master exports its classloader to a remote machine, which re-exports this remote classloader to the master to make a callback), we end up creating a RemoteClassLoader on the master to load a duplicate copy. A duplicate copy happens when we try to load a class from plugins, because ImportedClassLoaderTable creates new RemoteClassLoader with the 'getClass().getClassLoader()' as the parent, which doesn't see the plugin classes.
To fix this problem, RemoteClassLoader is modified to detect the situation where a round-trip re-exporting is about to happen. Upon detecting this, it will arrange things in such a way that the other side will get the original ClassLoader instance back, instead of doubly-proxied RemoteClassLoader.
