Replace configuration-specific write-file-atomic delegation with a verified
input snapshot, exclusive private staging, and an explicit canonical-parent
destination. Existing files publish by rename; first-run files use an exclusive
link so a newly created destination is retained. Both consumers read back the
publication owner's selected path.
Retain descriptor and staging cleanup capabilities through recovery and host
retry. Preserve mode and ownership, remove temporary permission handoffs, and
use positional restoration writes. Keep UTF-8 diagnostics with failed cleanup.
Validation: 284 focused tests passed, one skipped across 14 files; check:fast,
format:check, docs:check (including five consistency tests), two source reviews,
and 12 completed isolated public CLI setup/uninstall cost controls passed.
Native Windows/Linux, real editor concurrency, and providers were not verified.
Final-check/publication races and same-inode concurrent writers remain unexcluded.

* fix(evidence): verify staged output identity after its final write
On macOS FAT32 and exFAT volumes an empty file reports a placeholder file
ID, and the first write assigns its cluster-derived ID. The staged JSON
writer sampled the descriptor identity right after exclusive creation, so
publication and cleanup both rejected REA's own staged file as replaced:
every export failed with cleanup_incomplete and retained a .rea-write-*
directory.
The staged output owner now observes the descriptor identity immediately
before closing it, after the last write, and uses that identity for the
publication and cleanup pathname checks. A failed observation leaves the
identity unknown, so cleanup still refuses pathname removal.

* test(evidence): cover failed final staged identity reads
Reject the staged descriptor's final stat and verify that the writer
still closes the descriptor, refuses publication, and retains the
unverified staged content with incomplete cleanup.

Give atomic Evidence and snapshot writes an explicit resource owner, preserve primary failures and completed publication receipts, and retry retained staging cleanup at the owning lifecycle. Verify inode identity before publishing or deleting; unknown path disappearance remains a cleanup failure. Keep snapshot admission reusable when a session closes and reopens.
Consolidate JavaScript source-scope classification so cancellation cannot fabricate failures for unselected files. Classify configuration failures as invalid input. Remove stale assertions and reuse shared test cleanup ownership.
Validation: 266 focused tests before final ownership tightening, 108 affected tests afterward, static and documentation checks, actual invalid-configuration CLI behavior, and isolated test temporary-directory hygiene.
