Share schema keyword roles and preserve reference bases for explicit local pointer targets and uncertain intermediate scopes. Retain literal values and canonical validation. Refs #4936.
Normalize only advertised schema positions while keeping canonical validation. Preserve branch guidance and relax nonmonotone constraints as a unit. Verify full/compact catalogs and canonical examples after SDK conversion.

Keep item schemas when compact inputs reduce nested structure, expose literal tuple elements to items-first renderers, and preserve SQLite table-selection guidance across compaction. Verify catalog-wide client constraints and canonical rejection before dispatch. Document the stock Pi renderer size limit and caller-selected recovery.
Capture the current entrypoint once without inventing a path. Preserve unknown registration ownership through setup and doctor, refuse unsafe registration plans, and retain exact pinned-launcher readiness checks. Hash the same full or compact schema projection advertised by each MCP server and use that identity in doctor comparisons.
BREAKING CHANGE: server.command_path may be null when the invocation path is unavailable. Registration and setup statuses, and doctor classifications, may report unknown.

Use one named input-schema projection for clients and catalog identity, preserve dialect declarations, and bound compact schema depth. Keep canonical SDK output validation when output advertisements are disabled. Release request-owned state on cancellation and carry upstream limitations through composed workflows. Preserve doctor full-output envelopes and validate navigation facts at their owner.

Validation: focused schema, SDK output-validation, context, and workflow tests passed; no schema dialect or canonical output validation was relaxed.
Keep direct empty bridge objects observed, reject unexecuted initializers,
invalidate modified bootstrap tables and Electron identities, and retain
selection predicates through symbolic values and wrapper paths. Track lexical
binding identity and completed activation boundaries without leaking analysis
order into earlier reads.
Separate wrapper invocation provenance from the underlying IPC source range
so repeated registrations remain ambiguous through transfer and graph joins.
Use the same offered transfer budget for module preflight and final writing.
Index static literal properties once instead of rescanning every member. Keep
the original 10,001-member capacity fixture; Flameox confirmed the repeated
lookup cost and the optimized fixture completes in under one second locally.
Prune the stale compact-schema tool inventory assertion and update the public
call-graph registration expectation to its declared result envelope.
Validation: build, check, docs:check, 83 focused tests, 10 Electron identity
acceptance cases, 2 full-scale finding-capacity cases, and 7 compact-schema
transport tests. No real Electron runtime execution is claimed.
* feat(mcp): add compact input schema profile for size-capped providers
Moonshot's function-calling API rejects a request while any single tool
parameters schema exceeds its literal serialized size cap, so clients
such as kimi-cli fail every request while the default catalog is
attached (#1484).
Add an opt-in REA_MCP_INPUT_SCHEMA_PROFILE=compact server presentation.
Each advertised input schema is rendered within a 13,312-byte budget,
measured to sit below the observed provider cap: annotation prose
(nested descriptions, examples, defaults, titles) is dropped, repeated
annotation-free subschemas are shared through schema-local $defs/$ref
references the provider validates without expansion, and the three
structurally oversized schemas are advertised in a documented reduced
form. The canonical catalog, tool set, output schemas, and server-side
canonical validation are unchanged; the default full profile is
byte-identical to today's advertisement.
Boundary tests pin every compact schema to the budget, keep them valid
JSON Schema that still accepts every canonical example, hold reduced
presentations at three or fewer, and verify canonical rejection still
guards a permissive advertisement. Verified against the real Moonshot
API through kimi-cli: prompts succeed with the compact catalog attached
where the default catalog fails every request with 400.
* fix(mcp): preserve compact schemas through Kimi conversion
