Recover completed ordinary command results when pinned Incur formatting
exceeds the runtime string limit before stdout begins. Emit a small typed
memory constraint with an explicit unknown formatted size, the runtime limit
and JSON/filter remediation. Preserve full-output framing and leave normal
CTA, human and token-window formatting with Incur. Never rerun analysis.
Capture canonical failure identity at its logging owner, including thrown
AnalysisError projections. Recovery reads compact captured facts without
revalidating or retaining large diagnostics. Keep destination failure ownership,
prevent a second stdout document and retain quiet SIGPIPE status during recovery.
Validation: 111 distinct focused tests across 10 files; check:fast,
docs:check and discovery of all 1555 test files. Sixteen authored formatter
controls fail unchanged e103ae0ce and pass with this fix. A separate closed
reader control caught and now covers recovery EPIPE handling. The heavy JSON
string-limit regression remains excluded; no large Electron reproduction ran.
Twelve small public CLI artifact inspections preserve identical raw replies
and token estimates in TOON and JSON. Timings are noise-level, with no speedup,
cold-cache, large-result memory or real-provider qualification claim. Sentinel
and generator protocols keep their existing ownership.

Project default and multiple selected localized string tables from one
immutable decode pass. Remove the need for repeated APK snapshotting,
digesting, version probing, apktool d invocations, and workspace enumeration.
- Contract: add optional locales array to decode_android_resources input
schema (bounded to 20 locales) and structured string_tables to output schema
with per-table status, strings, total_count, unparsed_count, and coverage.
Preserve legacy strings and locale fields for complete backward compatibility.
- Bounds: enforce 32 MiB aggregate XML read cap and 10,000 aggregate string
entries cap across batched projections. Handle missing, oversized, and
malformed tables per-table without failing or losing completed tables.
- Lifecycle: maintain strict descriptor cleanup and provider-owned workspace
removal in finally, preserving typed cancellation and failure details.
- Adapters: add --locales repeatable option to CLI and update MCP contract.
Validation: 10 service tests, 3 CLI boundary tests, and MCP boundary schema
tests pass. Fast typecheck/lint and turbo docs:check:built pass.

Classify canonical physical file outcomes through the provider mapper before composing cleanup. Retain unknown capabilities as unresolved and replace runtime failure maps with exact leases, including mixed cleanup and partial retry.
Keep completed-read cancellation output and cleanup history. Closes#4865.
Validation: 179 unique focused tests passed across 13 selected files, 7 Linux-only skips; static checks, docs checks and 1551-file discovery passed. Authored Node producers and controlled real-descriptor faults do not qualify native providers.
Wire sigrok and tshark finalization to the effective signal. Services and file-failure adapters retain exact opaque reasons and completed Evidence instead of guessing from error names. Preserve typed primary outcomes through failed cleanup and recovery.
Validation: latest per-file coverage is 114 passing tests across nine selected files with 14 explicit Linux-only skips; core foundation passes independently. check:fast, docs and discovery pass. Four finalization controls failed before the signal ownership fix. Bounded completed authored-producer service workflows have identical Evidence with no performance improvement claim. Real sigrok/tshark and native Linux/Windows were not verified.
Closes#4858
Borrow the archive descriptor from the canonical artifact file workflow. Preserve primary configuration failures, completed archive facts and exact cancellation through final close, retain failed descriptor leases, and join provider and doctor shutdown without nested resource admission.
Validation: three baseline failed-close regressions; 65 passing tests across seven files, nine real CLI and nine real MCP tiny APK inspections, check:fast, docs and discovery. Two read-only reviews clear. Bounded equivalent workflow costs recorded without a speedup claim; no actual OS close fault or native Windows/Linux qualification.
Closes#4846
Make the signal boundary own logging and projection as it does for other cancellable commands. Preserve SIGINT/SIGTERM exit disposition after joined doctor cleanup without changing generic failure classification.
Validation: both public signal controls fail on the baseline with exit1 and pass with130/143 after the fix; selected Java groups are empty. Twenty focused tests across five files, check:fast, docs and discovery pass. Authored launcher fixtures do not establish real JVM or native Windows/Linux behavior.
Closes#4848
Run the selected module-listing command through owned supervision, preserve completed module facts through finalization, and retain failed cleanup in provider/doctor scopes. Join complete availability calls on shutdown, preserve opaque interruption reasons, and validate numeric Java facts before reporting them.
Validation: 223 passing focused tests across 21 affected files, one platform skip; controlled baseline returns before child exit; real doctor cancellation leaves the selected Java group empty; nine real CLI and nine MCP tiny-APK inspections pass; six bounded MCP cost comparisons preserve normalized results. Native Windows/Linux and actual JVM failure modes remain unverified. Separate CLI exit disposition and archive failed-close findings remain open.
Closes#4845
Share exact command/helper cleanup adoption across Java probes. Preserve complete live resource labels and explicit unknowns through inspection leases, and retain unresolved ownership when a cleanup capability is unavailable.
Validation: focused cleanup, provider/doctor and Kuna consumer checks; shared Ghidra lifecycle and public doctor regressions. Native Windows/Linux provider behavior remains unverified.
Record the first transport failure before SDK teardown, then capture terminal stderr after owned retirement. Preserve exact opaque cancellation reasons and keep foreign cleanup ownership separate through retries.
Validation: 119 focused tests across eight files; five selected baseline regressions; check:fast, docs:check, test discovery; nine real CLI and nine real MCP tiny-APK inspections. Native Windows/Linux startup failures and actual JVM OOM remain unverified.
Closes#4844
Separate verified process cleanup from output closure. Bound additional retention from owned stop entry through cleanup retry, drain before detaching capture, and mark unreadable or abandoned output incomplete. Release owned event-loop references on drain timeout without changing the proven cleanup disposition; preserve borrowed handle reference state.
Cover held and failed cleanup, late tail, bounded drain, stream errors, borrowed authority, and a real POSIX inherited-stderr release barrier. The real pipe control drops its final ten bytes on the baseline and retains them with this change. Focused consumer checks passed, including simulated Windows ownership; native Windows and real provider failure scope remain unverified.
Android still constructs its startup error snapshot before retirement; that consumer correction remains separate work.
Fixes#4840
Translate actual OutOfMemoryError at the bridge boundary before upstream stringifies it. Preserve observed heap bytes, missing reasons, coroutine context and cancellation; retain SessionHolder ownership and load options. Restrict heap-specific remediation to known heap reasons and parse named bridge failure contracts once.
Coordinate bridge protocol v4, clarify doctor configuration versus target capacity, and preserve the memory primary across cleanup failure/retry. Verify controlled immediate/late/inline continuation outcomes with the pinned JAR and real JDK, focused tests, and tiny real CLI/MCP method workflows.
Actual heap exhaustion, the reported APK, pre-handshake failures, Linux and Windows remain unverified; no stress or profiling run.
Fixes#3517
Compose cleanup failures with the canonical primary error and bind current resource attribution to the retained acquisition record. Remove the stale diagnostic alias and duplicate failed-handle representation.
Validate the strengthened controlled cleanup regression in an isolated checkout; it fails on the baseline's stale resources and passes with this commit. Real JVM cleanup failure is unverified.

Resolve smali using frozen raw method names and full DEX descriptors. Select
one complete block before truncation for missing Java, static initializers
and decompiler marker fallbacks. Reject ambiguous or incomplete blocks and
preserve upstream disassembly failure notes.
Bind method replies to the selected descriptor with bridge protocol 3.
Remove consumer placeholder/error-prefix interpretations and the superseded
blanket overload fallback rejection. Producer failures now use the shared
failed-tool path before truncation. Migrate protocol fixtures and consumers.
Adapt the direct selector guard from PR #3450; recover original bytecode
instead of inferring a holder from generated comments.
Validation: 122 focused tests in 9 files; real pinned-JAR baseline regression
fails and candidate passes, including overloads, aliases after generation,
branches/handlers, 16-byte output and negative selection controls. Nine real
CLI and nine MCP fixture calls pass with parity/identity/digest/no-mutation
checks. Static/docs checks and two source reviews pass. Six completed real
MCP cost workflows recorded; same calls with improved source, no speedup
claim. Tiny authored APKs, macOS/JDK 21 only; reported editor APK and native
Linux/Windows unverified. Heavy profiling and stress remain stopped.

Allow the 23-character script-region-variant representation emitted by Apktool, retaining the shared admission grammar and request aliases. Exact discovery and CLI/MCP selection consume the same bound.
Validation: 67 focused tests across four files; five controls fail on the baseline; static/docs checks and two source reviews. Twelve ordinary tiny CLI/MCP task comparisons preserve Evidence; two actual authored-launcher long-locale CLI/MCP calls select the table. No real Apktool/JVM or native Windows verification.

Adapt the prepared descriptor lifecycle repair from xu91102/rea dbb7db16. Bind exact file cleanup leases, retain typed physical failures and cancellation reasons, and join CLI/MCP finalization and active preflight. Share canonical Evidence construction and retain completed reports across reader handoff cancellation.
Scope active capture admission through shutdown and gate launch after close. Preserve successful descriptor peers and retry only unresolved owners. Separate process/transport retry ownership remains tracked in #4805.
Validation: 168 focused checks passed, one Windows-only skip; built CLI and actual stdio MCP controlled descriptor recovery; build, static and docs checks. No natural OS fault or real Electron launch/teardown claim. Ordinary full replies and Evidence IDs remain byte identical across 30 small CLI tasks.

Interpret the validated, depth-bounded DOM directly. Collect source number
facts during the same traversal and share them with keyed archives, Interface
Builder and native plist projections. Remove the second XML parse, key aliases,
source-location rewriting and both duplicate XML numeric scanners. Preserve
character references, container/null behavior, safe own-property construction
and prototype omission accounting.
Decode signed hexadecimal integers and combine real text/CDATA. Retain exact
integer identity when a finite integer exceeds even Number's finite range,
using the shared scalar projector. Keep unsupported mixed integer syntax
conservative and report incomplete metadata.
Adapt @apitoagents's hexadecimal regression and literal-parsing proposal from
PR #3475. Native plutil controls establish the supported hex/real cases and
confirm that the synthetic 401-digit overflow case exceeds native bounds;
retaining accepted input does not claim native-format support.
Validation: 274 focused checks in 30 files pass, one skipped; build,
check:fast and docs:check pass. Built CLI/actual stdio MCP, native plist and
Interface Builder controls cover kinds, references, exact digits and digests.
Eight baseline checks fail; native binary conversion independently verifies
updated CDATA real expectations. 48 tiny completed CLI cost comparisons
preserve ordinary XML/binary and all three native replies byte for byte.

Use the validated DOM's character-data key names for both identity and
prototype omission. Replace first-child reinterpretation with canonical,
collision-free aliases inside the pinned decoder boundary; restore names
through the existing dictionary projection. Alias every spelling of the
same name to preserve duplicate assignment order. Handle empty key spellings
and keep scalar key elements outside aliasing. Preserve value text and bytes.
Adapt @thangldw's tests and proposal from PR #3426. Avoid the proposal's
closing-content scanner and re-escaping source names. Add duplicate, empty,
alias-collision, scalar-key, native fallback and Interface Builder controls.
Validation: 180 focused checks across 20 files pass, including built CLI and
actual stdio MCP, build, check:fast and docs:check. Baseline public inspection
truncates main to ma. 24 tiny completed CLI cost controls preserve ordinary
XML/binary full replies and Evidence IDs byte for byte. No statistical speed

Move plist projection into the graph owner and identify generated scalar
wrappers by producer identity through every dictionary/UID consumer. Remove
the intermediate JSON clone that erased those facts. Literal wrapper-shaped
dictionaries remain dictionaries; scalar $top values fail as malformed.
Keep numeric projection after graph interpretation, preserve unknown counts,
and retain binary prototype-key partial facts with an explicit limitation.
Adapt @Jax367's relevant scalar proposal and public regression from PR #4317.
Add scalar-root, literal-root and binary prototype controls. Correct only
the captured Foundation data node expectation and its manifest digest;
original producer bytes and source are unchanged. Unrelated PR changes excluded.
Validation: 175 focused checks across 23 files pass, one skipped; build,
check:fast and docs:check pass. Public CLI and stdio MCP cover both encodings.

Validation: 129 focused parser/comparison/MCP checks, 38 shared MCP harness checks and 41 selected provider checks passed, with 15 checks overlapping those runs. Fourteen lifecycle checks also passed, plus static/build/docs checks. Two baseline controls failed before the correction. Twelve completed normal source comparisons retained byte-identical replies; no real Ghidra or maximal-relocation performance qualification is claimed.
Fixes#3981
FlutterBuildProvider.execute checks the caller signal after its awaited
snapshot-root removal. When the signal was aborted during a successful
first removal, that check replaced the completed AnalysisExecution with a
bare AnalysisCancelledError, so identify-flutter-build and
inspect-dart-aot reported a typed cancellation without
details.partial_observation and the shared CLI/MCP Evidence assembly
never saw the facts.
The post-cleanup check now keeps the caller's abort reason and retains a
completed result as the cancellation's partial observation. The Evidence
composition from executeProviderOperation moves into
createAnalysisExecutionEvidence beside the provider contract, so the
success path and the retained cancellation use one composer and carry
identical Evidence. Failed results keep their existing classification.

* fix(evidence): verify staged output identity after its final write
On macOS FAT32 and exFAT volumes an empty file reports a placeholder file
ID, and the first write assigns its cluster-derived ID. The staged JSON
writer sampled the descriptor identity right after exclusive creation, so
publication and cleanup both rejected REA's own staged file as replaced:
every export failed with cleanup_incomplete and retained a .rea-write-*
directory.
The staged output owner now observes the descriptor identity immediately
before closing it, after the last write, and uses that identity for the
publication and cleanup pathname checks. A failed observation leaves the
identity unknown, so cleanup still refuses pathname removal.

The one-shot Flutter CLI commands passed their command signal to the
inspection but not to finishAnalysisCommand, whose post-close cancellation
guard only runs when a signal is supplied. When the provider's first
snapshot-root removal failed, close() retried it after the inspection had
returned; SIGINT during that retry set exit status 130 while the command
still printed ordinary successful Evidence.
Pass the command signal to the finisher so an abort observed after the
awaited cleanup retry yields typed cancellation that retains the completed
Evidence as partial_observation. A failed retry still reports
cleanup_incomplete ahead of the later signal.

The MCP verify_managed_native_boundaries handler resolved native
observations through an inspect_macho/analyze_function allowlist before
calling the shared verification service, and reported any other authentic
operation as evidence_integrity_mismatch. The domain already owns which
native operations it can read symbols from and counts the rest as
unsupported, which is what the CLI returns. The MCP resolver now only
authenticates native observations and leaves operation support to the
shared workflow, so both adapters return the same partial verification.

scanRecoveryFile raised a plain AnalysisOutputError when a selected file
exceeded the remaining operation-wide input allowance, and
snapshotRecoveryInput folded that, read failures and UTF-8 decode
failures into one invalid_value request issue. A 64 MiB + 1 input was
therefore reported as a retryable invalid argument whose only record of
the 67108864-byte budget was message text that also called it an
invalid analysis output, and malformed UTF-8 received the same reason.
The scanner now marks its byte-bound refusals with the bound it
enforced. snapshotRecoveryInput, which owns the meaning of that bound
as the remaining total input allowance, reports it as a non-retryable
file-size AnalysisResourceConstraintError with maximum_input_bytes and
remaining_input_bytes, and decodes UTF-8 separately as an invalid_format
issue. Other scanner consumers still receive an AnalysisOutputError, and
the limit stays enforced.

V8 Inspector capture counted an execution-context created or destroyed
event whose context ID was missing or not a safe integer as retained,
but recorded nothing about it. The capture counters claimed the event
was kept while the context list silently omitted it, and no unknown
identified the loss.
The producer that parses the event and owns the capture counters now
records an invalid-context count, mirroring the existing invalid-script
accounting. The projection reports a non-zero count as an explicit
unknown, so the retained count and the reported omission agree. No
context is invented from a malformed ID, and all-valid captures are
unchanged.

* fix(native): retain Apple dispatch metadata descriptor cleanup ownership
inspect_native_dispatch_metadata opened the target with raw
openRegularFile and closed it in a finally block, so a rejected close
replaced integrity, capacity or cancellation failures and left no owner
to retry. The read now uses the shared owned regular-file operation in a
client resource scope; the physical failure stays the cleanup primary,
client close retries the exact descriptor, and a confirmed release
clears the original error's cleanup uncertainty. Decoding runs after the
descriptor is released.
