Duplicate-variant validation keyed each finite trace by its JSON form, which
preserves the member order of unordered tokens that matching treats as a
multiset. Key traces by the observations they accept instead: sort unordered
members and expand a token that repeats one event into that event's sequence,
keeping token positions and multiplicities significant.

Fixes #5916
