Adolanium 80673b22a4 fix(javascript): report fork's silent stdio as piped (#7083)
* fix(javascript): report fork's silent stdio as piped

Node's child_process.fork pipes stdin, stdout and stderr when options.silent is truthy and options.stdio is neither a string nor an array, and inherits them otherwise. REA never read silent, so fork("worker.js", { silent: true }) was reported with stdio_mode default (inherited). The unset-stdio case of fork now reads silent: truthy gives pipe, falsy or missing gives default, and an unresolved value gives dynamic.

* fix(javascript): apply fork's silent rule to other known stdio values

Adolanium c74d302cc4 fix(ghidra): report a DOL language override conflict as a configuration error (#7081)
* fix(ghidra): report a DOL language override conflict as a configuration error

A REA_GHIDRA_LANGUAGE_ID outside PowerPC:BE:32:* made an otherwise admitted GameCube DOL an unsupported target. docs/ghidra-provider.md and the other fixed-import lanes treat such an override as a configuration error naming the conflicting setting. The DOL lane now uses the same languageOverrideConflict owner and names only REA_GHIDRA_LANGUAGE_ID, since DOL accepts a compiler-spec override.

* test(ghidra): keep a valid compiler spec out of the DOL language conflict

Adolanium 4973ce7202 fix(capture): report an out-of-range record ordinal as a selection fault (#7067)
inspect_web_network_capture reported a record_ordinals entry past the capture's records as an invalid_format issue on record_ordinals, with no bounds. It is now an out_of_range issue on that entry (record_ordinals[i]) with minimum 0 and maximum total_records - 1, or invalid_value when the capture has no records.

Adolanium 06a4c338fc fix(protobuf): exclude trailing whitespace from gRPC-web trailer values (#7069)
RFC 9110 section 5.5 excludes leading and trailing whitespace from a field value. The gRPC-web trailer parser stripped only leading SP/HTAB, so 'grpc-status: 0 ' was reported as '0 '. Trailing SP/HTAB is now excluded too; internal whitespace and the examined byte count are unchanged.

Adolanium 60ab148afa fix(ghidra): accept stock language IDs with LEBE endianness or a slash (#7070)
REA_GHIDRA_LANGUAGE_ID only allowed LE or BE as the endian field and no '/' in the processor, so it rejected four language IDs that ship with Ghidra: ARM:LEBE:32:v7LEInstruction and v8LEInstruction (ARM BE8) and M16C/60:LE:16:default and M16C/80:LE:16:default. The syntax check now allows LEBE and a slash between processor name parts; the installed .ldefs catalog check is unchanged.

Adolanium bffe8a52a1 fix(apple): keep the recorded image name and frame symbol offset of IPS reports (#7059)
* fix(apple): keep the recorded image name and frame symbol offset of IPS reports

Apple's IPS format documents usedImages[].name and frames[].symbolLocation, and docs/apple-ips.md says documented body fields are reproduced, but the parser shapes did not list either member. They were syntax-checked and discarded without an unlisted_keys entry, so a symbolicated frame lost its +offset and every image its binary name. Both are now kept: images[].name and frames[].symbol_location as a recorded integer, with type mismatches recorded like other fields.

* fix(apple): count frame symbol offsets in the integer text check

Adolaniumandmorluto 046ec56d16 fix(browser): report an out-of-range script_index as a selection fault (#6979)
* fix(browser): report an out-of-range script_index as a selection fault

A valid export_web_scripts manifest without the selected script_index was reported as an invalid_format input issue, as if the manifest file were malformed. It is now an out_of_range issue on script_index with the valid bounds, or invalid_value when the manifest has no scripts.

* test(browser): keep the out-of-range index case in its own block

Adolaniumandmorluto a5bfd04401 fix(hopper): keep installed apt dependencies at their versions during Linux setup (#6974)
* fix(hopper): keep installed apt dependencies at their versions during Linux setup

apt-get install upgrades every listed package that is already installed, so Linux setup could upgrade the system python3 and X11 libraries while installing Hopper. Runtime dependencies are now installed with --no-upgrade in a separate transaction before the Hopper archive, which may still upgrade. The setup approval plan lists both commands.

* fix(hopper): narrow the apt upgrade claim and cover split transaction failures

* fix(evidence): preserve JSON ownership through metadata updates

Adolanium b09c6b0752 fix(apple): keep dyld candidates inside the analyzed root on Windows (#6955)
FilesystemTreeView mapped root-relative dyld paths to host paths with path.join. On Windows a component such as ..\outside\x.dylib was normalized out of the analyzed root, so a file outside it was opened, parsed and hashed. Components containing a backslash or colon are now absent on Windows, Windows link text is split on backslashes, and every host path is checked to stay inside the root before it is opened.

Adolanium c2068b94d7 fix(browser): parse repeated CSP and policy header field lines separately (#6963)
CDP joins repeated response header field lines with LF. Only the Link projection split them, so a repeated Content-Security-Policy lost the first directive of each later policy, and a repeated Referrer-Policy reported no policy. Header normalization now keeps each field line, CSP parses every line and comma-separated policy, single-valued fields combine lines with a comma, and Link uses the shared lines.

Adolanium 967a8bc279 test(uninstall): cover backups that fail verification after copying
Add cases where the backup copy reports success but leaves the recovery
file missing or holding other bytes; uninstall must fail before writing.
Narrow the installation guide so it promises a backup path only for the
failures that report one.

180ba03bfd fix(electron): preserve cancellation across waits, state reads and cleanup
Fixes #4388. Refs #4027.

Observe cancellation during first-window waits and state reads; preserve cancellation and caller reasons before cleanup and retain partial observations when cleanup fails. Keep late cancellation and cleanup failure precedence.

Validation: 49 focused cases, static/docs checks, six controlled verifier-oracle cases and 39 current-head CI checks passed. Codex and Greptile found no remaining blocking issues. Real Joplin cancellation phases verified; complete Linux cleanup/first-signal CLI exit and packaged-runtime startup remain explicitly unverified/failed. Both verifiers now fail incomplete cleanup, including after main-process exit.

Adolanium 6edd5cf045 fix(browser): keep declared scenario secrets out of redacted evidence (#1590)
A redaction marker such as [REDACTED:password] can contain the secret it replaced, and the byte replacer never scanned the marker it inserted. Cookie names, domains, paths, and storage keys were also stored raw. Choose a marker that does not contain a declared spelling, drop the result when a spelling remains, and redact storage identity fields.

Adolaniumandmorluto 1a6ccec636 fix(browser): skip Windows Electron signals without verified lineage (#1588)
capture_electron_scenario called taskkill on the recorded leader PID before lineage could be verified. On Windows the process table is empty, so that proof never arrives and the signal still ran. Refuse the cleanup without signaling. A verified lineage still terminates the leader and its descendants.
