Reuse sameRegularFileState for artifact, native plist and entropy readback.
Remove private copies of identity/size/timestamp checks and consistently include
mode in the existing stable-state contract.
Keep initial identity-only artifact admission, byte-count checks, capacity and
error precedence, symlink choices, cancellation and descriptor cleanup intact.
Validation: stable-file, plist, artifact outcome, entropy and public CLI/MCP
lifecycle regressions passed; static and documentation checks passed.
Use the existing bounded thin-header decoder for loaded and embedded FAT
identities, thin-image resolution, and both prepared-copy readback paths.
Preserve raw unsigned CPU/subtype facts and endian handling.
Keep the initial eight-byte dispatch, FAT framing, selection and ranking,
source digests, error ordering, cancellation and cleanup authority local.
Validation: Mach-O container, Hopper image/copy lifecycle and file-offset close
boundary suites passed. No attached Hopper GUI or real-provider run performed.
Decode metadata coded indexes once into null, valid or invalid facts. Migrate
all existing consumers and remove parallel token and failure-reason decoders.
Keep required-null policy with each column, preserving tokens, reason text,
offsets, issue ordering and readable partial metadata.
Retain known table/row coordinates even when invalid; TypeRef regressions
preserve row-zero and out-of-range enclosing facts without granting validity.
Attribute naming consumes the same validated constructor coordinate.
Validation: metadata/member/native-boundary/signature source suites and public
CLI/MCP recovery workflows passed; static, docs and duplication checks passed.
Give accepted target IDs one owner for processor identity and canonical case,
while preserving exact target spelling for selection and Evidence. Use that
fact for payload/bundle comparison instead of splitting on a colon.
Keep feature differences unknown unless exact target keys agree. Cover legacy
plus-feature declarations in both directions and mixed processor case with
individually named physical-byte regressions. The original code failed twelve
of the twenty-one comparison cases; the updated matrix passes all cases.
Validation: GPU source, physical boundary, compiled CLI and lifecycle suites
passed. Static, docs, schema and duplication checks passed. No GPU execution.
